Unlike in many other countries, there is technically no such matter as a "sworn translator" in the United Kingdom or the United States. A sworn translation in the UK necessitates the provision of an affidavit, where linguists themselves must visit a solicitor and swear an oath that they are experienced and that the translation is definitely honest and accurate professionally.

In the case of converting that country’s language to the foreign language requires a translator’s expertise. Please note that UK certified, notarised or sworn translations of official documents will be acceptable to Uk authorities and a genuine number of authories abroad, including the USA. However, some employers, government agencies or authorities take translations from the national country in which the documents originated, or from the sworn translator within their own country.
